SLI Programs
Advanced Concussion Training (ACT)
- An Advanced Concussion Training is a customized multimedia presentation developed by SLI Co-Founders Christopher Nowinski and Dr. Robert Cantu that provides the information and inspiration to play safer sports.
- ACTs are the national gold standard for concussion education.
- ACTs are now mandatory for Chicago and Boston Public School coaches.
- Keep your child out of the training and safe on the field.
- Make sure your child’s school, team, or program have a reviewed and comprehensive upgrade of their concussion policies.
- SLICE teaches young athletes about concussions through discussion, video, and interactive games. Students learn that successful athletes play hard and play smart.
- SLICE results have revealed that 93% of students strongly agreed or agreed that “Because of the SLICE presentation, I’m more likely to tell a friend or coach if I think I have a concussion.”
