The goal of the California Concussion Coalition is to safeguard today’s youth and provide them with the education, inspiration, and information to play sports more safely.
Goals & Objectives
-Launch Advance Concussion Training (ACT) program for Oakland Unified School District in August 21, 2012
-Host >5 ACT education events
-Host a provider education symposium on modern concussion management for the young athlete – Fall 2012
-Launch a web page that provides updates on Coalition activities and education on concussion response and management
-Launch a SLICE education program at UC Berkeley and other colleges
