Coaches Concussion Clinics (3C)
In response to the growing need for more aggressive measures to end the concussion crisis in sports, the Sports Legacy Institute is proud to launch a groundbreaking educational program on sports concussions developed for youth sports coaches.
Coaches Concussion Clinic (3C) provides the nuts-and-bolts information coaches need to allow their athletes to play sports safely. It costs as little as $40 per coach and is comprised of 3 parts:
1. 90 minute multimedia presentation and Q&A session with SLI experts
2. SLI 3C take-home workbook (see sample pages)
3. SLI 3C online multiple-choice exam on concussion knowledge and care.
The Clinic is designed to be added onto regular coaches meetings, including preseason orientation meetings.
Why 3C Is a Must for Top Programs:
- Studies show half of football players and soccers players report concussion symptoms each season!
- Coaches and athletic trainers only learn about one in ten!
- Medical research indicates undiagnosed and untreated concussions may be far more damaging to the brain than properly treated concussions!

Course completion sends a positive message to parents. Coach participation in the 3C program, along with a completion certificate from the Sports Legacy Institute, lets parents know that your organization is taking reasonable steps to combat the sports concussion crisis and protect the health and safety of your athletes.
